How To Assemble An Engwe Electric Bike? – Best Unboxing Engwe C20 Pro

The Engwe C20 Pro is an electric bike that promises a seamless blend of style, power, and comfort. If you’re eager to get your hands on this cutting-edge machine, it’s essential to know how to assemble it properly. Luckily, the assembly process for the Engwe C20 Pro is straightforward and can be done in a few simple steps.

First, begin by unboxing all the components carefully. Lay out all the parts in front of you to ensure nothing is missing or damaged during transit. Once everything is accounted for, start by attaching the front wheel to the frame using the quick-release axle system – make sure it’s securely fastened.

Next, attach the handlebars by aligning them with the stem and tightening them using an Allen wrench. Be sure they are at a comfortable height and angle before proceeding.

Now comes installing the battery pack. Locate its designated spot on the frame and slot it in securely until you hear a click – this ensures that it’s locked in place correctly. It’s worth noting that charging your battery fully before first use will optimize its performance and overall lifespan.

Finally, make sure all cables are neatly secured along their respective routes with zip ties or Velcro straps—this guarantees safety while riding as loose cables can potentially cause accidents.

step-by-step guide on how to unbox the folding electric bike and how to assemble it.

  • Begin by carefully unpacking the folding electric bike from its packaging, ensuring you keep all the components intact. Take a moment to appreciate the sleek design and compactness of the bike, as this is one of its standout features.
  • The first step in assembling the bike is attaching the handlebar stem to the front fork. Look for the pre-drilled holes on both parts and align them together. Insert and tighten the bolts securely using an Allen wrench or a socket wrench, depending on what tools are provided.
  • Next, it’s time to attach the pedals to their respective crank arms. Note that pedals have distinct markings indicating which side they belong on – ‘L’ for left and ‘R’ for right. Use a pedal wrench or a 15mm wrench to screw on each pedal tightly clockwise onto their corresponding crank arms.
  • Now comes installing any additional accessories that may come with your folding electric bike such as lights or fenders. Securely fasten these items according to their specific instructions, keeping in mind that loose fittings could negatively impact performance or even cause accidents down the road.
  • Assemble any remaining parts, such as seat adjustment or adding reflectors for safety purposes; refer to your manufacturer’s instructions if necessary.
  • Finally, inspect your newly assembled folding electric bike for any loose connections or potential issues before embarking on its maiden ride!

How To Assemble Engwe C20 E-Bike?

Assembling your Engwe C20 E-Bike may seem like a daunting task, but with the right approach and a few helpful tips, you’ll be zooming along in no time. The first step in the assembly process is to unpack all the parts and lay them out in an organized manner. Take inventory of all the pieces and make sure you have everything you need before getting started.
Next, carefully read through the instruction manual that comes with your bike. It will provide detailed step-by-step instructions on how to assemble each component. Follow these instructions closely to ensure that your e-bike is assembled correctly and safely.

Step 1 – Remove Cushions

Remove Cushions

Initially, let’s eliminate all those cushions encircling the bike. One way to accomplish this is by utilizing scissors or a knife. Exercise caution when cutting the straps so as not to cause any harm to the cables.

Pro Tip! After the cushions are removed, fold the bike and remove the battery. Connect it to the charger and plug the charger into the wall. You can charge the battery while you assemble the rest of the bike.

Step 2 – Attach the Handlebar

Attach the Handlebar

It took me a while to figure out the proper way to do it, but in reality, it’s actually quite simple. The upper part of the handlebar is already connected to the bike through the cables, so start by attaching the handlebar subassembly stem to it.

Next, it is necessary to fold the handlebar using the quick release mechanism. Once that is done, you will notice a hexagon screw that must be securely tightened once the handlebar stem is connected to the bicycle. Ensure that the fork is facing forward and align the handlebar accordingly.

Step 3 – Install the Front Light

Install the Front Light

Fixing the front light is fairly straightforward.

Just use those screws that are riding to the light.

When installing the light, you need to use a wrench from one side and a screwdriver on the other side.

Step 4 -Install the Front Wheel

Install the Front Wheel

The transportation bolt must be taken off from the fork before proceeding with the installation of the front wheel.

Next, just attach the wheel in the correct position. Make sure the brake disc goes in between the brake pads.

After that, take the quick-release skewer. It has a lever, 2 springs, and a nut. Note that the springs must be positioned so the narrower sides are inside.

Step 5 – Install the Seat Post

Install the Seat Post

Next, let’s attach the seat post. It’s probably one of the easiest steps.

Just place the seat post with a saddle where it belongs and tighten it with a quick-release lever.

Step 6 – Install the Pedals

Although the pedals look the same, they are not.

Make sure to install each pedal to the correct side. Both pedals are marked, so you know which one goes right and which one goes left.

The right pedal or drive-side pedal must be negotiated clockwise. Start the threading with your hand and then tighten with a wrench.

Duplication this on the left side but the threading must be done security clock wise.

Good job! Basically, the bike is now assembled. As I promised, it was not difficult at all!

Before you can go for the first ride, you just have to wait until the battery is charged.
